Graduate Detectives

About

When Georgia college students Karen Johnson, Jordan Whitman, and Monique Anderson decide to profile an ongoing serial murder case for their criminal justice class project, they never imagined their research would lead them down a dangerous path of turmoil, self-destruction, and murder. Karen, a soft-spoken, southern girl from North Carolina came to college in Georgia to release the shackles her mother clasped around her ankles the day she was born. When she begins collecting photographs of the eight victims, she experiences dreams of the actual crimes, and as she attempts to unravel the mystery of the dreams, she finds herself entangled in her past and ultimately on the verge of insanity. Jordan Whitman is a tall, dark, and handsome country boy from North Carolina who came to college in Georgia to escape the pressures of a deep, dark secret that he has concealed from his family and friends for most of his young life. When he begins to outline the collected data from each crime, he discovers that all of the men murdered by the serial killer have one thing in him. Strong and streetwise, Monique moved to Georgia to escape the harsh realities of life on the streets of Washington DC. When the investigation leads her into the arms of Jordan, she is determined to do whatever it takes to get him, even if she must sacrifice her friendship with Karen.
